Straight away
We are not a Bristol company, and you should know that before you read on
Turing IT is based in Weston-super-Mare, about twenty-five miles from central Bristol and roughly forty minutes down the M5. There is no Bristol office, no serviced address, and no local phone number that forwards somewhere else. Plenty of suppliers will imply a presence they do not have, and it is the kind of small dishonesty that tells you what the rest of the relationship will be like.
What we do have is a genuine working radius that Bristol sits comfortably inside. We meet clients in person, we prefer to spend a day in your office mapping a process than a fortnight guessing at it from a written brief, and that is as true in Bristol as it is in Bridgwater.
If you need somebody physically on site every day, hire a Bristol firm. We will tell you that on the call rather than after the invoice.

How we approach it →Customer portals

What working with us from Bristol actually looks like
- We come to you for the audit. The free sixty-minute process audit happens in your office, watching the work as it really happens. No travel charge, no minimum project size, and no obligation at the end of it.
- You deal with the person writing the code. Ross runs the business and builds the software, with a small team behind him for design, testing and support. There is no account manager relaying messages, which is the main reason distance stops mattering.
- In person when it counts, remote when it does not. Scoping, walkthroughs and the difficult conversations are worth the drive. A fortnightly progress check usually is not, and we would rather spend that time building.
- We host and monitor it afterwards. The system runs on infrastructure we manage and watch around the clock, so a problem is usually dealt with before you notice it. That part is location-independent entirely.
Cost
We do not price by postcode
Most projects fall between £15,000 and £60,000, whether the client is in Bristol, Taunton or Weston. A single-process system that replaces one spreadsheet sits at the lower end; a platform the whole operation runs on sits at the top. We publish the bands so you can work out whether this is a conversation worth having before you have it.
Proof
Work we have actually done
We are not going to list Bristol logos we do not have. Our published case studies are UK-wide and each one names the client, links to their live site and states the technology, so you can go and check that the work exists rather than taking our word for it. That is a better test than a postcode.
